Spacelings In Space
A Silly, Rules-Light Roleplaying Game about a playing as Spacelings... in Space.

Preface
This is a table-top RPG project that I have worked on for a handful of months on and off. Rules light, funky stats, cool dice, and a flexible perk system makes for a light hearted experience that is shorter and less demanding than many mainline TTRPGs. It might not be the most polished or fleshed out, but it is fun, so grab some pals who like aliens and aren’t afraid to use their imaginations and see what these Spacelings get up to in Space!
You and a handful of friends find yourselves in the wide open void of space, and amidst any wonders or horrors that lurk therein. Most of you shall create a Spaceling and set forth into adventure, although one of you will make an Episode for the Spacelings galivant through. This creator of content is called a Game Master, or GM, and those who create and play as a Spaceling will be referred to as Players from here on out.
I mentioned an Episode, and yes, this system is designed to be very episodic. Each session of play should range from 1 to 2 hours and center around a main conflict in a cool, spooky, dangerous, or just plain evocative corner of space created by the GM. This can be a one and done situation, or the Spacelings may set out once again in another Episode. Players may cycle through different Spacelings in between Episodes, and you may even switch out who is taking on the role of GM!
Once you read the words here, this system is yours to do as you please with, but the tone intended as I designed it was that of a campy animated TV show set in space. Not without Drama, Stakes, or even emotional moments, but never something that takes itself all too seriously. If you design your Spacelings and Episodes with that in mind, everyone will have a good time.
