Game Design Intern | June 2022 – December 2022
Responsible for translating the scientific information provided by Dr. Melanie Stegman into interesting puzzle mechanics, creating the level designs for the initial launch of the game, and implementing those levels in unity.
Created physical prototypes to demonstrate and pitch ideas to the team during the mechanic development phase. Then took their feedback and suggestions and iterated on the mechanics until everyone was happy to move forward.
Created the level designs following a similar iterative process: Creating low-fidelity designs in Adobe Illustrator, pitching them to the team, iterating, and eventually making high-fidelity designs for the ones the team settled on.
Implemented these designs into Unity using prefabs and scripts made by the developer.
